Arts and Humanities Expectations: (Visual Art, Music, Drama, Dance)
Students will be able to explain and describe the purpose of the arts.
Students will be able to describe and apply the elements and principles of each area of arts.
Students will be able to identify the major art periods, along with artists and their works, beginning at the renaissance and progressing through the 20th century.
Geography Expectations:
Students will gain a working knowledge of the world map, and be able to locate the continent and general vicinity of all nations of the world.
Students will be able to explain how climate and environment impact movement and settled.
Students will be able to describe how geographic features enhance or prevent interactions between regions of the world during different time preriods.
