To the Parents of the WCHS Senior Class:

Project Graduation is a FREE, all-night party held the night of graduation at Falling Springs Arts & Recreation Center .  What makes Project Graduation so special is that it is an alcohol-, drug-, and tobacco-free event in a safe and secure environment.   Project Graduation is a gift from parents and the community to our children.  Its success depends on the generosity of the businesses, community leaders and the families of the graduates in Woodford County .

There are many ways you can help.

Volunteer at Project Graduation.  We need parents who will work the game tables, referee sports, prepare and serve food, work at the registration and check-in tables, help distribute prizes and work many more jobs during the night.  Volunteers are needed between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.   (No, you probably won’t get much sleep that night!  Shift work is available.)  By all accounts from last year’s event, the parent volunteers had as much fun as the kids. If your name is already on a volunteer list we will be contacting you, THANK YOU

Refer us to a potential sponsor.   We are soliciting local, regional and national businesses for cash donations, prizes and food and beverage donations.  Do you work for or know of an organization that can help?  Many businesses have budgeted funds to support educational and community activities. We can think of none more worthy than Project Graduation. Our goal is to raise $30,000 in cash and prizes.  We use the cash and prizes as the incentive for the kid’s attendance.  You can help by providing us with leads for sponsors.

Donate cash or prizes.    Please return the enclosed form simply by using the enclosed return envelope. We would appreciate receiving the forms/donations back ASAP, as you know the sales at yearend would allow us to purchase greater quantities with less money.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP,
