Persons owing money from 2006, including anyone who has not paid in full for state convention must correct this account before being accepted for anything for 2006-2007.

~ October 4th 2006 - the annual FFA picnic

*This year it is at Sarah Absher's house.

Directions:

coming from the high school....

1.) Go to the stoplight at St. Leo's.

2.) Turn Left onto Depot Street.

3.) It is the third house on the right.

~ Thursday, October the 12th 2006 - There is a Community Service and Recreation Committee Meeting.

- For information see Ethan Curd and Shannon Bush.

 

~ The T-Shirt order is up on the board. Go to the AG. Hall and order your shirt write your name on the list.

The Cost: $13.00

   * This year they are gray with navy blue writing.

   * The front will say Woodford FFA with the emblem, and the back will have the motto.

 

North American International Livestock Exposition and Rodeo

When: Friday, November 10, 2006

Where: Louisville, Kentucky

 How Much: $26.00

*Turn in the money to Mr. Lewis*

  *Money must be paid before your ticket will be order*

Deadline for sign-up: September 22nd, 2006

*If you have any questions or concerns then you can ask Mr. Lewis or Mr. Bird.*

 

~September the 11th 2006 - the sign-up sheet for national convention will be posted. There are not as many spots, so if you want to go then  watch the board. Sign-up as Quick as you can. 

Where: Indianapolis, Indiana

When: October 26th 2006 - October 28th 2006

*Details:*

- "down payment" is $100  

- total is $300

- You will need a letter of approval

- If you turn in money and end up not able to go you will be have your money fully refunded.

- There are not as many spots as last year so you may not be selected to go.

- Criteria available through Mr. Bird.

Criteria to attend:

1. Priority will be given first to Chapter Officers and competitors. Then by class order and application. 

2. Remaining slots will be allocated based on gender to fill out a total of 3 student rooms. One room reserved each for males and females. The remaining room allocated whereas to fill it with 4 students based on the most promising applicants as determined by the Executive Committee.

3. All members attending must have official dress

4. All members attending must have completed the requirements for the Green hand FFA degree by the time of departure.

 

  ~September 8th 2006 - We will be holding a remembrance for the victims and the families that were on flight 5191. It begins a 7:00pm.
