The YMCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the youth of today, in simplest terms, become great leaders and gain values, through community service and their conferences. They host 2 debatable conferences, KYA and KUNA, and two that are non-debatable, Go For It! and LTC. These conferences, as well as much more information about the YMCA, can be found at their home page, which is linked at the top of this site.
Meetings are held on Monday mornings in the cafeteria and on Monday afternoons in room 155.
We have selected a topic to write a bill on. We chose "Mercury in the Rivers of Kentucky". We are currently researching what can be done to lessen mercury pollution, what equipment can be used, and more to that effect.
Due to absences beyond our control, pictures will be put off a little longer. Hopefully, this week or the next, pictures will be added.
Officers have been assigned!
...Unfortunately, I forgot the roster, but they will be added next week!
*Pictures soon to come* |
