EVERYBODY!!!

BY FRIDAY: EVERY MEMBER needs to drop off a mysterious W.A.V.E IV teaser poster to build some buzz. Put your name on the back of the poste. Optional: bring a Wave 3 t-shirt design that includes what WAVE stands for and date of event.
BY MONDAY: EVERY MEMBER needs to drop off a W.A.V.E IV poster with the following information: deadline for submission (April 30), it should say "submission forms may be picked up in Mr. Ruff's room or downloaded from the film club website- "
BY WEDNESDAY: EVERY MEMBER needs to drop off a W.A.V.E IV ad to advertise WAVE, I should include WHO (anyone who likes film) WHAT (WAVE 3, explanation of acronym and what WAVE is about) WHERE (WCHS library) WHEN (Friday, May 4- 7pm-9pm) Tickets $5 can be picked up in Mr. Ruff's room

BE CREATIVE: ads should include info about past WAVE - ideas- submissions, past Oscar winners, past Sundance winners, prizes, cool pictures, etc

Attention Future Film Makers of America, and anyone who likes movies, TV, home videos, and/or breathing:

Entries are due Monday May 5th

The Celebration Approaches: Come Friday May 9th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM to Woodford's Amateur Video Extravaganza: a festive presentation of short videos by your peers in the high school library. They won't exceed 12 minutes, so you probably won't get bored.

At the contest you can expect to see:

Creative and captivating short videos
The official W.A.V.E. t-shirts and key chains will be available for purchase – the former is dress code approved.Awards for best video (Grand prize), best cinematography, best sound, best lighting, and best editing will be awarded by the official W.A.V.E. judges.
Fabulous food and drink available for a modest fee (Try Morgan Stratton's official W.A.V.E. cinnamon pretzels and Yahoo®, the official W.A.V.E soft drink and non-dairy creamer)
