Allyson Lusby

Education: Scott County High School; Bachelor's Degree in English from Eastern Ky. University; Master's Degree, Rank I and Standard Guidance Certificate from Eastern Ky. University
Experience/Current Position: I spent eleven years teaching English and entering my tenth year in the guidance office (21st year at W.C.H.S.)

Extracurricular/Talents/Hobbies:

I enjoy playing the piano and the handbells,  and fostering kittens and cats for the Scott Co. Humane Society.  I am very active in the Scott Co. Humane Society.

Patricia Banks

Education: Purdue University 1969; Indiana University -1975.

Experience: I started my career teaching middle school home economics.  I have been a school counselor since 1985.  I've worked in Columbia City, IN '80-'99 and Maui, HI-'99-'03.

What do I like about W.C.H.S.? I appreciate how respectful, friendly and encouraging the students and staff are to everyone.

 


Jim Brown

Education:  Oldham County High School; Murray State University- B.S. Industrial Education; Western Kentucky University- M.A. School Counseling & Rank I School Counseling 

Work Experience: Industrial Education Teacher at Trimble Co. High School

School Counselor at Williamstown Independent Schools

Hobbies: I spend most of my free time either playing with my grandchildren or playing golf.

Lesley Gilpin

Education: W.C.H.S. graduate, Bachelor's in Social Work from Western Kentucky University; Master's in Social Work from University of Kentucky
Experience:  Spent 2 years as Youth Counselor at Methodist Home before coming here in 2000-2001
Position:  School Social Worker. 
As a school social worker, I help students and their families overcome social and emotional barriers.  My goal is to help all students succeed and reach their educational goals, in spite of personal struggles which make them more difficult to achieve.
