ADMINISTRATION    

Rob Akers-Principal

Education:  Bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky; Masters degree and Rank I certification from Eastern Kentucky University.
Experience:  Before coming to Woodford County, Mr. Akers taught English for 7 years at Tates Creek High School, served briefly as guidance counselor at Tates Creek in 2000, was an assistant principal at WCHS in 2001 and served as an associate principal at Tates Creek from 2001-2005.
Personal:  Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky.  He is married to Derby Akers a guidance counselor at WCMS.  He has a daughter, Carol Lyn.


Bob Gibson - Associate Principal

Education:  WCHS Graduate, BA in History from Centre College, Rank II Special Ed from Eastern Kentucky University, Masters degree in Administration from Eastern Kentucky University

 

Experience:  Taught Social Studies at WCHS from 1995 - 2006


Larry Caudill - Associate Principal
Education:  Undergraduate- University of Rio Grande, Rio Grande Ohio, 4 year varsity basketball letterman.
Masters- Eastern Kentucky University
Experience:1997-2000 Tates Creek Middle School
200-2005 Tates Creek High School
Personal/Hobbies:  Born and raised in Waverly, Ohio.
Family- Married in 1997 to Tracy Beegle now Caudill, two boys Christian age 8 and Dillon age 1. 
I enjoy reading, golf, camping and playing basketball

 

 

 

Dan Cassity -Freshmen Principal

Education: Xenia High School, Xenia, Ohio; Political Science Degree-Morehead State, MA in Secondary Ed.-Morehead State, Rank 1 Administration-Eastern Kentucky University

Experience: 29 years experience: 23 years as a teacher at Danville High School, Bryan Station High School and WCHS; 6 years as an Assistant Principal at WCHS.

Currently: Freshmen School Principal
