My degree is in Music Education from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN.  I also received additional certification in English and I am currently working on my Master's degree in Educational Leadership.

I have taught for 15 years, Elementary Music for 5 years, Choir for 15 years, English (8th, 9th, 12th) for 10 years and  Yearbook for 5 years

 I have coached cheerleading, softball, and volleyball.

Currently teaching 11th and 12th English and coaching volleyball.

 In my spare time I read and run.  My husband and I have run 10 marathons so far.
