Education
I graduated from Meade Co. High School in 1977; received my bachelors from WKU in 1982 in English and Therapeutic Recreation. I received my masters from Georgetown in 1992 in Education.

Experience
I taught for five years at Garland Independent School District in Texas, and am currently in my fourteenth year here at WCHS. This is my 19th teaching year.

This year I teach Advanced Composition and senior English, and AP English IV English Literature.

Extracurricular Duties/ Hobbies
I currently coach varsity
cheerleading. This is my third year doing this at WCHS, but I also coached
in Texas for three years. I am on the Climate Committee this year, but
have served on the Curriculum Committee, and the SBDM at points along the way.
This semester I am sharing a Writing Coordinator position with Dan Ruff.
In my free time I play golf, go antiquing with friends, and read.
