Tennis update

The boys and girls teams had their first match Monday March 24,2008 against western hills. The boys had a rough start losing the first match of the season 3 matches to 2. The girls swept the competion with a 5-0 victory. The tennis team is just starting out but looks to have a good run into the season and the regional tournament.

The girls second match went really well against Bryan Station on March 25,2008 beating the Defenders 5-0.

The Boys played Lafayette on March 26,2008. It was a tough match against an extremely talented team but the Boys fell 7-2.

Boy's played Richmond Model on April 7 and lost to them 3-6

The boy's also played Scott Co. on April 8th and won 7-2

Girls played Dunbar on April 8th and fell to them2-3. With Becca Cooley and Jill Mcgregor winning their matches.

Girls played Scott Co. on April 10th winnning the match 7-2.

The boys and girls tennis team have recieved a new volunteer coach going into this upcoming season. Jodie Mitchell, graduate from transy university. He was a state champion in doubles his senior year of high school.
